Imersifi, a leading Virtual Reality company based in Wales, is proud to announce its participation in Wales Tech Week, set to take place on the 17th and 18th of October 2023. Imersifi will be in the demo zone as well as alongside CSConnected, where it will present an educational outreach app developed as part of the START SEMI project. This project, led by Swansea University in collaboration with Imersifi, CSConnected, University of Leeds, and University of Warwick, is funded by Innovate UK and aims to revolutionise the field of semiconductor education.

The START SEMI project is a pioneering initiative designed to empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the semiconductor industry. By encouraging young minds to explore the fascinating world of semiconductors, the project seeks to inspire the next generation of talent in this field. Imersifi plays a pivotal role within this consortium by spearheading the development of cutting-edge virtual reality applications for outreach and training.

At Wales Tech Week, Imersifi will proudly present its educational outreach app, a testament to the company’s commitment to innovation and education. The app is poised to engage and educate students in a captivating and immersive manner, offering a unique and interactive approach to semiconductor learning.
